Indian tribal wisdom teaches the uses of jojoba, especially for shiny, healthy hair and a dandruff-free scalp. In fact, dandruff was an unknown phenomenon. To this day, they consider fancy shampoos, hair treatments and conditioners entirely unnecessary.

To date, sales of hair care products are increasing, and the large variety available on the market Is indicative of how valued beautiful, strong hair really is. It doesn't take much: jojoba oil helps dry and dull hair, brittle hair tips and itchy, dry scalp. The valuable ingredients of the oil optimally care for hair and scalp and successfully fight dandruff.

Studies at the University of Michigan showed that when applied to the scalp, the oil penetrates into the hair follicles, moisturizes hair roots and also builds up protection of the hair from within. Additionally for facial hair, the oil is a wonderful means of caring for the underlying skin, especially after shaving.

Dry hair

Wash your hair with your usual hair shampoo. If your hair is naturally dry, shampooing is sufficient but do not allow the shampoo to work for a too long. The hair will dry out even further. After washing your hair, spread a few drops of jojoba oil on the palms of your hands and knead them into the dry tips. In order to be able to accurately administer, the oil should be poured into a spray bottle. This way, you can apply a very small yet precise amount on all hair tips.

Then spread the rest a little further up into the rest of the hair by pulling the ends of the hair together and twisting them into a strand. But avoid the hairline and scalp, or the hair will look greasy. If you then comb the hair while damp, very small amounts are also well distributed over the rest of the hair, hairline and scalp. Then dry the hair as usual. After this treatment, the hair feels softer, luscious, is easy to comb and shines.

For itchy, flaky scalp

kopfhaut This is best way to treat hair and scalp prior to shampooing. Massage the oil into the entire scalp and hair with your fingertips in gentle circular motions and leave it on for at least 5minutes - but for no longer than 30 minutes.

Thereafter, wash your hair as usual with a mild-strength shampoo and rinse well. If you feel the hair is still greasy, wash your hair a second time. Do not let the shampoo work for too long! Just wash and rinse so that you don't exacerbate drying out your scalp

Addition to the shampoo

shampoo If you have dry hair and a very sensitive scalp, you can certainly add the oil to a mild strength shampoo: mix 3 - 8 drops of oil with shampoo in your hand and wash your hair as usual. Start with a small amount, estimating depending on your hair density, and the length of your hair.

If the dosage is too high, the hair will look greasy. The scalp is nourished for when washing with the liquid jojoba wax and no itching will subside. Rinse hair well with warm water. Then dry as usual. Your hair will then shine and look feel healthy and strong. The hair will look full and less fine.

For hair loss

Hair loss can have many causes, such as an overactive thyroid, a lack of vitamins or an inflamed intestine that prevents nutrient absorption. So it is quite possible that the treatment with jojoba will not be successful. In these cases, a doctor needs to be consulted for the cause to be identified. However, hair loss can also occur if hair follicles become clogged with sebum and dander and thus exist in a state of perpetual inflammation Studies at the University of Michigan showed that when applied to the scalp, the oil penetrates into the hair follicles, moisturizes the hair roots and also builds up the hair from the inside. With inflamed, clogged hair cells and scabs on the scalp, it hair can fall out and its regrowth will be prevented because the hair follicles are blocked and inflamed by increased sebum production.

shampoo For men with a beard, the oil is a wonderful means of caring for the underlying skin, especially after shaving.

In psoriasis, the hair cells exit cornified and brittle: sebum cannot escape, and this predisposesthe hair follicles to inflammation and poor production of new hair. Jojoba oil kills germs in the hair follicles, and contributes to the strength of the skin’s natural oils, sebum and the dead skin cells. Provitamin A and vitamin E, which are transported to different layers of the skin with jojoba oil, regenerate the scalp and hair follicles. A healthy foundation of hair roots will produce hair again after a few weeks if the hair cells have not yet died.

In addition, the linoleic acid contained in jojoba oil regenerates the cells and keratin proteins to ensure healthy nutrition of the foundation of hair follicles. Massage undiluted jojoba oil into the scalp 2 to 3 times a week before shampooing and leave it on for 20 to 30 minutes. After 3 - 6 weeks, hair growth should restart.

For beards

Bart Many men experience itching after cleansing or shaving their beards due to dry skin. Simply spread a few drops of the oil with your fingertips into the underlying skin after washing. The oil rapidly cools the skin. Apply a few drops of oil after a beard shave and moisturise. Thanks to the anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties of the oil, calms your skin and allows hair regrowth with miniml new inflammation. Small cuts heal quickly.

Men with long beards tend to have dry or itchy skin without knowing it, and often the skin is red under the beard. Simply massage the oil into the skin and beard and let it work for approximately 30 minutes before washing it out with lukewarm water and a little shampoo. The dermatitis is alleviated and is well nourished with jojoba wax.
